After-Hours Emergency Care:

Teeth Whitening

Before and after for teeth whitening

It’s no secret that Hollywood stars are the epitome of beauty. And when they want to look their best, they turn to teeth whitening.

But what about the rest of us? What if you work in an office and need to show up with a bright smile on your face first thing in the morning? What if you have braces or sensitive gums and can’t use some of the most popular teeth whitening treatments on the market today? These problems don’t just affect celebrities anymore!

At Hermiston Dental Group we ensure you have healthy enough teeth, gums, and mouth to whiten. We oversee your teeth whitening process from start to finish to ensure you get the best results possible.

In-Office Tooth Whitening

In-office tooth whitening is a method of tooth bleaching that involves applying a high volume of hydrogen peroxide gel to the tooth to bleach the natural tooth color.

The high volume of hydrogen peroxide, sometimes called “power bleaching,” has long been the gold standard for tooth whitening methods. The best results are usually obtained with this method and studies indicate that teeth will remain whiter longer than with other whitening techniques.

Professionally applied in-office teeth whitening can last up to two years with a touch-up treatment.

It’s important to note that the older your teeth, the more likely it is for stains and staining. For patients who have discolored or dark teeth, some treatments will be necessary before you see the final results. This can mean a series of lighter bleaching procedures over time or even surgical procedures such as veneers, crowns or porcelain laminates (teeth refinishing). Whatever your age and personal health history, our licensed dentists will recommend what’s best for you based on thorough dental exams and diagnostic X-rays to identify any underlying problems that need correction.

It’s hard to find a dentist that you can trust.

Finding the right dentist is tough, and it only gets harder when you’re looking for one who offers in-office teeth whitening services.
